Venman Bushland National Park forms part of the Koala Bushland Coordinated Conservation Area. Today we will follow the 7.5km Venman trail clock-wise through Eucalypt forest on well-marked trails. It is undulating but no serious hills, with one hill just enough to get you puffing. There are a couple of creek crossings with permanently placed stepping stones. You may be lucky enough to see koalas and wallabies plus a variety of birdlife.
The Walk Starts from the car park at the end of Venman Road. There is a picnic/BBQ area and toilets available. We can stay on for morning tea at the end of the walk if anyone would like to. Bring 2L of drinking water, morning tea, and the usual gear for a day walk, including first aid kit, hat and sunscreen.
Sign up on Meetup or send an email to the club, so the leader can be notified that you’d like to join the walk.
