65km coastal through walk in northern NSW, from Angourie to Red Rock. Terrain includes sandy beaches, heathland plains, rocky headlands, rock platforms , a creek crossing and 3 river crossings. For the Sandon and Wooli river crossings we will book a boat transfer. Station Creek can be waded through on a low tide. The hike finishes with the crossing of the Corindi River on the last day which we will swim across. We’ll be camping at national park campgrounds along the way. Dates for this walk have been picked for suitable tides.
Day 1: Drive to Red Rock. Park cars. Transfers to Angourie. Start walking. Camp at Lake Arragan (13km)
Day 2: Lake Arragan to Sandon River Campground (13km)
Day 3: Sandon River to Boorkoom Campground (17.5km)
Day 4: Boorkoom to Pebbly Beach Campground (13km)
Day 5: Pebbly Beach to Red Rock (6km). Return to the Redlands by car
