Come join us on this mid-year, full moon basecamp at beautiful Mt Barney Lodge Campgrounds situated 90 minutes from Brisbane, 1093 Upper Logan Road Mt Barney
Various types of accommodation include camping, glamping, huts and homestead. Book your own accommodation at info@mtbarneylodge.com.au or ring the lodge. Let them know you are with Redland Bushwalkers. Weekends have a 2 night minimum payment.
There is no camp kitchen, bring all your own cooking supplies. Good bathroom facilities, Hot Showers and Toilets.
Great views of Mt Barney, a bubbling creek nearby and communal fire-place for those crisp nights. Please bring firewood and nibbles to share.
Various level walks have been organised and will be posted so sign up on Meetup. Non-walkers are most welcome. The area surrounding the campsite is lovely to have a wander around.
Bring your own food, No electricity available, only one water tap for the whole campground, you might like to bring your own water.
Bring usual hiking gear and warm woollies especially at night and early morning. Don’t forget torch and head torch.
