Meet at Binna Burra ranger station carpark at start of Illinbah Circuit to start walking at 8 am. The walk will take between 6 to 8 hours
We descend to the Coomera river and then head upstream.
This is a wet trip. We will be walking or wading in the river until we turn off to scramble to the base of one of the largest waterfalls in Lamington.
The water depth may vary from ankle deep to waist deep in places depending on recent events.
There will be logs to scramble under/over and boulders to negotiate.
Morning tea will be on a rock slab and lunch at the base of the falls. We return the way we came.
Bring warm tops for the rest stops and spare clothes for the trip home
