The annual (except during a pandemic) bushwalkers’ pilgrimage is on again this year, at the Crows Nest Showground from **Friday-Sunday 19-21 August**, hosted by the Toowoomba Bushwalkers.
This event is an opportunity for all the bushwalking clubs in Qld to get together and share experiences, meet people from other clubs, and do walks in a different area. For some history of the event: [https://bushwalkqld.wordpress.com/pilgrimage/](https://bushwalkqld.wordpress.com/pilgrimage/)
Here’s what the weekend will involve:
**Venue**: Crows Nest Showgrounds – powered and unpowered camping options
**Activities**: A range of bushwalks primarily in the Crows Nest and Ravensbourne National Parks organised by Toowoomba Bushwalkers. There will also be opportunities for cycling and kayaking, and a Saturday night bushdance with Band O’ Coots Bush Band. Sunday activities to be confirmed.
Current best estimate of maximum overall cost to attend is $45.
We’ll be camping as a group under the Redland Bushwalkers banner, so if you’re interested, sign up here, or if you would like more information, please contact either Betty [firstname.lastname@example.org](mailto:email@example.com) or Tracy [firstname.lastname@example.org](mailto:email@example.com).
PS: the photo above is from the 2012 pilgrimage at Canungra organised by US! As we don’t have their permission to show this photo, the subjects are incognito.
