Redland Bushwalkers
Starting from Aquatic Paradise West park at the end of Commodore Drive (Birkdale), we will ride through Thorneside over the Lota Creek boardwalk, along Manly Esplanade and on to Wynnum Mangrove carpark. Then we will return to Manly for a refreshment break. The break duration will depend on how busy the cafes are at the time.
We will then continue back to our starting point in Birkdale.
We will be mainly on relatively flat bike paths, but also on the road at some times. Distance 30km, rough time estimate 2 – 2.5hr.
Bring – helmet (of course!), water and cash/cards for refreshments. Sunscreen is recommended.
(Note that E-bikes are allowed on club events and are now covered by the club’s insurance policy)
