Come along to our meeting, held at the Lions Club Hall, 122 Shore St North Cleveland from 7pm. Meeting starts at 7.15pm.
Tonight, we have Tom Bor from Bushwalkers of Southern Queensland (BOSQ) giving us a presentation on Allergies and Anaphylaxis. As bushwalkers, we spend a lot of time outdoors which means we can encounter things like bees, wasps, certain plants, or even foods that can trigger allergic reactions. Tonight, Tom is going to talk about allergies and anaphylaxis: what it is, how to recognise the signs, and what to do if someone has a reaction while we’re out on a walk. The aim is to help us all feel more confident and prepared to respond if this situation arises, and to keep ourselves and our fellow walkers safe.
