Redland Bushwalkers
Meet at the top Binna Burra carpark in front of the cafe to start walking at 9am. This 12km circuit takes us through lush rainforest, open eucalypt forest, mallee woodland and montane heath.
We will probably have early lunch / late morning tea about 2hr in at Numinbah Lookout (alternatively Surprise Rock if the lookout is busy) and return to the carpark by early afternoon. A relatively easy track and not a long day with a good variety of scenery, although maybe a little early in the year for the best wildflowers.
Bring the usual daywalk gear, water, warm jumper, lunch/snacks. Parts of the track (clay surfaces) may be slippery after any recent rain, in which case poles would be helpful.
Carpooling can be arranged closer to the time. Please indicate in the comments section if you need a lift, prefer to drive and can take others, or prefer to drive yourself and meet there. Thanks.
