Redland Bushwalkers
A short easy Sunday walk to finish off the Christmas Camp weekend with.
(3.4km circuit, elevation gain 92m, allow 1.5hr).
Charlie Moreland campground is 10 minutes drive from Kookaburra Park, and we will start the walk from the day use area. The trail begins by running alongside Little Yabba Creek and joins up with the Piccabeen Circuit. We’ll make our way through pine plantation, tall open eucalypt forests and cool riparian rainforest, and some beautiful piccabeen palm groves. Crossing Little Yabba Creek on large stepping stones we return around the circuit to the day use area.
We can organise carpooling from Kookaburra Park if anyone wishes to do so.
Bring – water, hat, jumper.
