Love Creek Falls and Greens Falls Circuit – D’Aguilar National Park
LDW 5D
We plan to leave Redlands at 5.30am as we need to do a car shuffle. Car pooling will be arranged when we have numbers. If you are unsure about your capabilities contact us before signing up.
Start 7am – Finish 3pm
Difficulty – moderate to hard but done at an easy pace. This is a long day, suitable for
experienced scramblers or fit agile beginners who have at least done one off track walk. Apart
from the last 5 km on track, this is an off track walk following rainforest creeks. Some waterfalls
will need to be bypassed by steep and scrubby tracks.
It includes scrambling, rockhopping and optional swims.
This walk requires a short car shuttle. We leave some cars at Maiala picnic ground and drive to
Alex Road.
This walk then follows a partial track (old forestry track) down a steep ridge to a rainforest
creek. This creek is then followed to the Love Creek junction and we rock hop, scramble down
Love Creek until we get to the falls. Swimming is possible at the falls. We’ll then follow Love Ck
down to Cedar Creek and rock hop up Cedar Creek to meet the Greens Falls Track to return to
Maiala Picnic Ground and reverse the car shuttle.
Bring: Water for full days walk, lunch, snacks, first aid kit, swimmers, insect repellent, gaiters,
protective clothing.
Meet: Mialla Picnic Ground carpark
