Nudgee & Nundah Creek King tide paddle
Today’s high tide is one of the highest day time tides of the year. With so much water I’ve been told we should be able to paddle over the portage between Nudgee & Nundah Creeks. Let’s seize the opportunity to see if today’s tide is indeed high enough.
This event is for experienced kayakers only. Previous participation in a rescue session is desirable. BYO kayak, paddle and PFD. Wearing your PFD is compulsory (club requirement).
Start time of 8.30am is when we aim to be on the water, so make sure to be at Allpass Parade (Cnr Yundah St) Shorncliffe between 8.00-8.15am for an 8.30 am launch. Check the comments section prior to the start of the event for any last minute changes. If conditions are not favourable, for example high winds, the event will be cancelled.
