Sunset Walk King Island Wellington Point

Park and meet at the Village Green Car Park Wellington Point next to Harcourts Real Estate at 4.30pm.
Join us for a Sunset / Moonrise local 8 km walk from Wellington Point Village along Main Road to Wellington Point.
Once we get to the Wellington Point Recreation Reserve, we will continue on to King Island across the sand bar.
On King Island, we will continue as far as possible where we plan to linger and enjoy sunset and moonrise . On arriving back at the Point, we will follow the footpath around the reserve towards the jetty and continue the loop back to the Main Road.All in all we are allowing for 2 hours walking and 30 minutes for refreshments as we enjoy the sunset.
Bring usual gear, a torch, water insect repellent and optional refreshments
