Coochiemudlo Island Circuit Walk SDW 2A

Join us for a local 5 km walk at Coochiemudlo Island on a Friday afternoon. Meet at the Victoria Point Passenger ferry terminal at 415PM – the water taxi leaves at 4.30PM. Pay onboard for ticket. Please note: payment by card only, cash is no longer accepted on board. A standard adult return is now just $1.
We’ll arrive on Coochiemudlo Island at 4.40PM and will walk around the island along tracks, beach, wetland, boardwalk and a little along the road (approx. 5km total). Mostly a shaded level walk, and being late afternoon, it shouldn’t be too hot and make for a pleasant walk. Bring a torch, water, hat, and ample insect repellent!
At the completion of the circuit we will return to the mainland. Ferries depart every 30 minutes to and from the island with occasional gaps for crew breaks. Check Coochie ferry timetable for more detail.
For those who wish to linger on the island The Beach Bar will be open for dinner.
