Girraween Base Camp

We’ll be camping at Castle Rock Campground at Girraween National Park. Bookings can be made online 3 months in advance so they have recently opened up. Make your own reservation.

Bring your own food and drinking water, No electricity available.
Bring usual hiking gear, plus
warm woollens, and firewood for our communal campfire. It gets very cold at Girraween!
Don’t forget torch and head torch.

We are encouraging members who are more familiar with the area to put up walks. There will hopefully be a variety of walks available for all levels of ability
