King Island Wellington Point Social walk

We’ll meet near the picnic tables at Wellington Point Recreation Reserve, which is right on the point. 5 PM arrival time will work well with low tide, which is 5.20 PM. We’ll walk out to the Island and back enjoying the sunset and what ever wild life is about. An easy walk with plenty of time to chat. Bring insect repellent (just in case there’s not much breeze to keep the insects away), and a light jacket in case it gets a bit cool. Bring a picnic or buy some fish and chips to enjoy when we finish walking. The cafe at the point closes at 5PM so if you would like fish and chips, you’ll have to drive up to the main shopping strip, which isn’t far.
